Emily Holt
A member of the Northwest Editors Guild, I am an editor and writer focusing on nonfiction, academic writing, and fiction. See my LinkedIn profile for more on my professional experience.
I received a Master of Letters in Literature from Trinity College Dublin and an MFA in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop. I am the author of Though the Walls Are Lit, which explores the protest tradition of hunger striking.
Whether I’m traveling, trail-running, or chasing my daughter through the woods, I like to be on the go.
For film and documentary, I collaborate with Braden Van Dragt.
Braden Van Dragt
Braden Van Dragt’s photos and videos have appeared in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Seattle Times, and the Seattle Weekly. His multimedia project Silent Presses followed photographers who had spent the majority of their careers with the Seattle P.I. in their final days of work as the paper reduced its staff size and went online-only.
For eleven years, Braden produced expertise, social, and narrative content in REI’s Media Studio, with a focus on run. He is now a freelance writer, editor, and producer. Check out his portfolio here.
He enjoys running the trails and mountains of Washington and working wood with chisels and handplanes.
